Looks like:           We think it may be Caroline’s long lost twin!

Our first daughter was a joy, a second daughter brings twice the happiness to a life we feel very blessed to have been given by our Lord. Two girls... WOW! Just like Caroline, Isabella recognized Momma and Daddy’s voices when we sang to her and baby talked at first meet!

Rachel is recuperating right now from the Caesarean procedures;  she is still a bit drowsy and sleepy from the medications but began to eat liquids this evening after not being able to eat since midnight last night.

Nursery

  • Room décor theme
Caroline's room is decorated with the Laura Ashley "Gabriella" theme, encompassing light pastel colors with the hint of pink, bringing out baby's feminine side. Rachel hand painted Caroline's letters with a little help from daddy; he hung them up.

  • Plush toys
The baby room's shelves are stocked with a handful of soft toys from the award winning and popular European children show "Pocoyo and Friends". The full gang is present with Pocoyo, Pato the duck, Elly the elephant, Lula the dog, and let's not forget Sleepy Bird. Annex also is a vintage soft toy of Rachel's when she was a baby. The yellow duck plays music when winded a few times.

  • Sesame Street Ernie
When José was a little boy, his parents bought him a small puppet of the Ernie character from Sesame Street...  Psychologists theorize the roots of José's puppet like prankster personality originated in early childhood with the introduction of "Ernie" in his infancy. Caroline will follow in the steps of this daddy and carry on his legacy, God help us all...
  • Pink baby
When Rachel was a little girl, she also had a soft toy like the one pictured in the middle of this shelf. She had called it "Pink Baby"; Nana bought a similar soft toy for Caroline keeping up with tradition.

  • Baby gate
The baby gate serves two purposes:
                1) Shelter Solomon from Caroline during her infancy years.
                2) Shelter Caroline from Solomon during her toddler years.

  • Baby Wardrobe
    A girl must accessorize!
