Septemeber is finally cooling down and the girls are back outside.

Lounging Junos - 2011

These two little girls surely never get bored in their new home... lots of exploration and space to run!

First week of June and it's already 100F degrees outside... what does August hold for us? no worries, Caroline and Isabella learned the word "picina" (pool) and can slip into their bathing suits in no time.

Pool Season! - Jun, 2011

Pool Season Opened this Memorial Day Weekend with Nana and YooHoo's visit! Sports Illustrated: watch out for our very own swimsuit edition of our Diaper Chicks!

The walker - Feb, 2011

Isabella is about to start walking; for now she runs around the living room behind her walker until the couch jumps in front of her, or Caroline pulls it right off from under her nose! (roll eyes...)

SNOW! - Feb, 2011

Yes it snows in Dallas!... Caroline and Isabella woke up to a few inches of snow on the ground and decided it was time to bring a snowman to life with a carrot, bungee cords and Daddy's "non serious hat" ... oops, forgot the arms!

NaNa & YooHoo - Jan, 2011

Nana & YooHoo flew to Dallas to play all weekend long with their Grandchildren. Caroline & Isabella kept these two busy on the floor chasing around and getting a workout at the same time!

Fort Worth Stock Show - Jan, 2011

It's time the girls meet the cows, the sheep, and the swines; we're talking about the FW Stock Show. Tons of animals and things to see. Funnel cakes and Sausage on a stick were Caroline's and Isabella's favorites!

Caroline meets Barney! - Jan, 2011

Barney (Baba) has been Caroline's idol since she was months old, and this weekend she took Daddy to go see him in person for her very first time!
She has a certain expression when she is excited; take a look at her face showing her emotions; priceless!

Christmas in Venezuela - Dec, 2010

Caroline introduces Isabella to Abuelo, Abuela and the rest of her family in Venezuela, and spend Christmas and New Years there celebrating the Holy Season. On their way back to Dallas they make a 3 day stop in Aruba to play with some sand and catch a few sun rays while Mommy and Daddy hit the Hotel Resort food and dessert buffets!

Christmas in Dallas - Dec, 2010

The girls start the Christmas Season posing to get one out of 276 times for the 2010 Christmas Card to send Family and Friends. Then Christmas came early to assemble their new kitchen! playtime was cut short because it was then time to start packing for the Christmas Parties in Baton Rouge, open gifts and pack again for the Venezuela Christmas Trip!

Caroline and Isabella fly to Baton Rouge to celebrate an early Christmas with their Southern Family. Back to back family parties and lots of non stop play time with Nana and YooHoo becomes their past time on this very short weekend.

Remebering Tío Raúl - Nov 18, 2010

Tío Raúl is now with Jesus our Father in Heaven and we have only begun to miss him. All I could think of tonight to keep him alive in our hearts was this small compilation of all the photos I could find of him so we can see him anytime, from anywhere.

He was always present at all of our life celebrations, weddings, baptisms, parties; it was like having a second Dad, always there to be at our side to keep us company, simply because he wanted to. God bless Tío Raúl’s soul and may he rest in peace for eternity. Hugs to all.

Zoo Weekend - Nov 2010

Caroline and Isabella wore themselves again this weekend, first at the malls shopping for winter clothes and then at the Fort Worth Zoo. Cousin Gabriel drove over to visit them Friday and spent some quality time with them on the carpet and testing out their jumperoo!

Daylight Fallback - Nov 2010

Is it Daylight Savings Weekend already? the girls had that extra hour to play and shop in stores that looked like it was Christmas already! they both test drove new cars maybe for next year if they can actually reach the throttle pedals! Caroline narrowed her choices to the Barbie Wrangler Jeep and the Cadillac Escalade Ghetto Cruiser with the exterior rear mounted Mega speakers... Isabella settled for the two toned colored VW Beetle.

Halloween - Oct 2010

Flowers and Bumble Bees go together like Isabella and Caroline... those were their costumes for this year for Halloween. The girls flew down to Nana and YooHoo's to Trick or Treat their neighborhood full of children and they had fun, specially Caroline when she figured out handing out her Jack O' Lantern bucket got it stuffed with candy! she didn't even mind if they were strangers or not!

BUSY month - Oct 2010

B.U.S.Y. has been our family code name for the past few weeks; we finally had a brief moment to actually sit down at the computer and download photos that trigger happy mommy and daddy never stopped taking of the girls in October... enjoy!

State Fair Of Texas - Sep 2010

Where can you find anything fried, anything on a stick?, overpriced kitchen appliances, pig races? only at the State Fair of Texas!... The girls had on big day of fun Downtown Dallas eating, walking, petting goats, lamas, cows, more baby goats, the whole farm works... both princesses collapsed on the ride back home, enjoy!

Grapefest - Sep 2010

Fairs, Fairs and more Fairs; our Texan Duo Girls love an outing of any kind. It's Grapefest once again, time to walk down Main Street and exercise everybody's legs, including Missy Caroline who can sit still anymore in a stroller ... walking and touching things is more fun for her.

Texas LSU Cheerleader? - Sep 2010

Our Caroline is a Cheerleader this week! Nana and Yoohoo-hoo flew into town for Labor Day Weekend, and brought her own LSU Cheerleader outfit to add to her growing collection of costumes for playtime. Gabriel got his LSU onsie too!

First Toothie! - August 2010

The end of August is finally here, maybe the end of 100F + degree temperatures so the girls can go back outside and ride their wagon? Check out Isabella's first pair of lower front toothies, cut just 4 days past her 6 months!

Caroline turns two - August 2010

Our lovely Caroline turns two! mommy and daddy hosted her 2nd birthday party at home with presents, cake, and of course yummy food. At the end of her day, she was one very tired birthday girl!

DDD ride again - July 2010

Daddy Daughter Day with with Caroline and her little friend Katelyn. They started their Saturday with their daddy's at The Original House of Pancakes, delicioso!then headed to the kiddy park and splash park to cool off; Texas 100F + is still our standard day...

First Rice Bowl - July 2010

Isabella celebrated her 5 month old birthday with a big baby bowl of rice cereal. Will she start sleeping thru the night after a full tummy? we are keeping our fingers crossed!

C.AND.I Roadtrip - July 2010

The Girls are back home! Last weekend Caroline and Isabella decided to go visit MawMaw Mimi and PawPaw in Baton Rouge, so Nana And YooHoo drove them there with Mommy for a mini vacation there.

Gabriel James is here - June 2010

Caroline and Isabella got a new baby boy cousin on June 24 to play with on weekends, in a few months... Uncle Michael and Aunty Jaclynn are happy to come home and enjoy him in the comfort of their own house... and also celebrate her birthday!

Still Hot in Texas - June 2010

100F degree days are now regulars in Texas for maybe another two months?... yikes! our girls are beginning to darken up!

Water Park Girls - June 2010

Caroline and Isabella got their Texas hot season covered for the Summer in the water! Caroline became a fish and wouldn't get out of sight of the water jets!

Nana and YooHoo (PawPaw) stopped in Grapevine for the weekend "on their way" to Shreveport Louisiana... Caroline screamed at first glance of YooHoo waiting for her on the driveway...

Our Missy Agú turns 3 months old! Isabella’s favorite word is “Ah-goo” when she is excited, and squeals every now and then. She talks to her bouncy seat little hanging animals and kicks them with her feet… we think Fisher Price intended for them to be played with their hands?

Grapevine Main Street Days - May 2010

May was a very busy month for the girls... and closed it with our city annual Wine festival, and anything delicious you can think of, on a stick. Caroline ate most of Daddy's Louisiana Meat pie, yum!

Disneyworld - May 2010

Caroline revisits Mickey's Magic Kingdom and shows Isabella around on her first trip to Florida. Mommy and Daddy attended Uncle Jess & Charlotte's wedding and spend a few days afterwards at Disney and Sea World with the rest of the D Family.

Happy Mothers Day! - May 2010

Pretty roses for a pretty Mommy! started the day with Church to thank our Lord for our Moms, then head home and call Moms; next is off to treat Mommy to Lunch, and spend the rest of the day sleeping off that huge lunch, it was a great Mothers Day!. Here is a sneak preview of our next Doctor in the family: Doctor Caroline, holding her own practice in her living room without a license... while Isabella is all giggles!

May is here - May 2010

It's time for more outside playtime in the park with Caroline & Isabella's favorite Uncle Michael and Aunty Jaclynn... Mommy and Daddy relived their infancy too while nobody was watching, except all of you now, heH! Potty time is just around the corner for Caroline; for now it's a cool talking seat while she waits for her bath...

Zoo Weekend - Apr 2010

Bright sunny Saturday morning was the perfect day to take the girls to the Fort Worth Zoo. Isabella slept most of the day in between feeding times, while Caroline pointed at every animal; her favorite was the monkey area while she "ooo oooo" at them.

Bumpo April - Apr 2010

It's tax month, it's rain month, so theirs plenty on indoor time to play with the girls! bumpo chair time, tubby time, Boppy pillow time, play with Mommy's new Apple Macbook, swing time and more tubby time with the C.AND.I sisters!

Isabella meets MawMaw for the first time in Baton Rouge, and spends a few days playing with her sister, Nana and her PawPaw.

April SHOWERS - Apr 2010

Not rain showers... we talkin' Baby and Wedding Showers! Mimi and PawPaw hosted a Baby Shower for Michael and Jaclynn alongside a Wedding Shower for Jess and Charlotte for an evening full of presents, good ol' southern food and plenty of cheerful relatives to go around.

C.AND.I Easter - Apr 2010

Caroline and Isabella started their Easter a week early last Saturday, a perfect day out for an Easter Egg hunt with the rest of her little toddler friends, until they met the Easter Yeti ... we thought it was the adorable Easter Bunny! Isabella got cozy with the big fluffy guy. Easter Sunday with Uncle Michael and Aunty Jaclynn and Mommy's delicious cooking to go with the Ham & Turkey, and her best: Lemon upside down cake, YUM! ... Happy Easter Everybody!

Caroline and Elmo and inseparable... she looks forward to her daily Sesame Street with her favorite red furry friend... She just turned 18 months and is now 21 pounds (clothed) and a whole 31 inches tall, and she still fits in her Infant seat! now cleaned and ready for Isabella... Party, Fun & Ducks! - January 2010

January is still cold! but it does not stop Caroline from a little kiddy and duck fun! Mommy and daddy are almost finished with Isabella's nursery, so they decided to go partying Downtown Dallas and stayed at the historic Adolphus Hotel while Nana & PawPaw played with baby all weekend long...

Aunty Jaclynn hosted a Baby Outfit Party where Missy Caroline picked out her own girly dress... she has nothing to envy from Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your Hair... her ever fast growing hair is getting longer every week... Mommy got our Foo her first Pig Tails!

White Christmas in Dallas! - December 2009

Nana and PawPaw are in town for Christmas only to find out Caroline was saving a White Christmas in Dallas for them!
It's afternoon Christmas Eve, snow is still coming down and the temperature is going down to 25F tonight... we are already looking forward to driving in our four wheeled sleighs to Uncle Michael tomorrow Christmas Day!

Baton Rouge Christmas Parties - December 2009

It was a Christmas Party Marathon Weekend!.... Caroline drove over 900 miles roundtrip from Dallas to Baton Rouge to attend three delicious dinner parties with her Louisiana family... she LOVED playing with all her cousins and on the way back to Dallas she slept all the way to Shreveport, talk about partied out!... the rest of trip she caught up with her Barney DVD movie in her car seat and shared it with her mommy and daddy, TWICE!

Paint my new room please - December 2009

Isabella Claire is arriving in under 3 months and Caroline is has to move into her new bigger room so her little sister can have her old cozy nursery... it's painting time " ...I'll take my same Yellow Bliss please, and Isabella can have the Timid Absinthe Green..."

Back to Daddy's D3 Dallas Office Christmas party, Caroline makes her appearance by popular request. Last year she was only 4 months old, and this year 16 months old; so far she is the youngest D3 Party attendee, and the first one to go home for beddy time!
